Kevin S. Johnson is Southern transplant, moving to Brooklyn after getting an undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. He acquired his law degree from New York Law School in Manhattan and was admitted to practice law in New York in May 2013.
He has spent his career in and out of court litigating matters in the Federal and State Courts of the New York City Metropolitan area. Primarily his career has focused on plaintiff personal injury, advocating for the victims of others negligence and insuring just compensation for injuries. He has also represented employees and employers in Federal and State wage and hour claims. Other matters range from bankruptcy, unemployment hearings, criminal defense, and divorce. His familiarity with the procedures and players of the court system ensures he has the edge in litigating a variety of matters.
If fair settlements of your case cannot be reached, Kevin has the trial experience necessary to take a case to verdict. He also is adept at utilizing alternative forms of resolution such as mediation and arbitration.
Kevin maintains a pro bono practice in various litigation matters for those who aren’t in the position to otherwise hire counsel. The judicial system cannot always be friendly to litigants in need and he is happy to step in to ensure justice is achieved when possible.
